Professional biography
Dean Garrow, LCAM, is a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager with more than 15 years of condominium board experience, including nine years serving as board president. His background on both sides of association management informs his practical approach to budgets, governance, communication, and the challenges facing volunteer boards.
Named 2022 Newbie CAM of the Year by COnnect Florida, Dean also serves on CAI’s Florida Legislative Action Committee and the City of Orlando’s Livability and Sustainable Aging Committee.
A featured speaker at the 2023 City of Orlando Mayor’s Neighborhood and Community Summit, where he presented “The F Word: Let’s Talk Financials and Budgets,” Dean has shared approaches to presenting budgets effectively for condominium, homeowners, and voluntary neighborhood associations. He is a published CAI newsletter contributor and is developing The Condo Primer, a guide for condominium board members and owners.
